If you haven't heard about Mayan mushroom stones, the story goes that psilocybin mushrooms and other entheogenic plants have had a central role in pre-colonial Central and South American spiritual life.

The practice, after being pushed underground by the missionaries' efforts to eradicate indigenous rituals and beliefs, has been rediscovered by R. Gordon Wasson in Mexico in 1955. Further south in Guatemala, mushroom shaped effigies have been discovered in honor of the mysterious fungi. So far I've only seen pictures of these rare effigies, but I've always wanted my own.

This is why I decided to make my own replicas, in keychain and desk (or garden) statue form. It'd also be cool if you liked the facebook page to stay up to date. It also makes me feel special. More models should come with time.

You can also contact me if you'd like them in bulk.
